Every fee, every rule, every calculator and every correction on this site is free, with no account, and will stay that way. If you are trying to work out what a permit costs at two in the morning, you should not meet a payment form on the way. I am not going to build one.
What Pro buys is narrower and harder to copy: somebody keeping an eye on your particular situation. Save a page and you will hear when a figure on that page moves — that is free too. Pro is the version where I hold what you told the renewal check — permit type, and which renewal you are on — and write to you when something moves that touches that, whichever page it happens to live on.
And the unglamorous truth about how it works, because you should know before you pay: it is me, running a script that tells me who a change affects, and then writing the email. Not a robot, not a digest, nothing on a schedule. If a month goes by with nothing moving, you hear nothing from me, and that is the product working rather than failing.
You do not have to take my word for whether anything actually gets maintained. The record is public — what each fact used to say, what it says now, the date, and the source. Most of the entries are me correcting myself, including one where I corrected a correction twelve hours later.

Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. If you subscribed in the iOS app, cancel in your Apple subscription settings. If you subscribed on the web, reply to your receipt or email arek@settleinturkiye.com and I'll cancel it for you. No questions asked.
Is there a free trial?
No — Pro is $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr with no trial. The free tier is there to try the tools first: 5 AI chat messages a day, 3 document scans a month, 27 guide places, and every blog, FAQ, calculator and neighborhood page. Cancel anytime, so there's no lock-in either way.
Who actually charges my card, and what shows on my statement?
Polar Software, Inc. — they are the merchant of record for web subscriptions, which means they handle the payment and the tax, and their name is what appears on your card statement rather than SettleIn. Nothing to worry about if you see a name you do not recognise; that is why it is written here. Turkish VAT is included in the price you see, so $4.99 is $4.99. If you subscribe in the iOS app instead, Apple charges you and it shows as Apple. Business buyers can tick "I'm purchasing as a business" at checkout to enter a tax ID — individuals are never asked for one.
Do I keep my data if I downgrade?
Yes. Your vault documents and chat history stay. You just lose access to premium features until you re-subscribe.
Does it work on both web and iOS?
Yes. Subscribe on the web or in the iOS app — either way, once you're Pro all features unlock on both when you sign in with the same account.
