This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for SettleIn Pro, the paid subscription for SettleIn Türkiye (settle-in-turkey.com). It applies to purchases made on the web and inside the iOS app. The service is provided by Arek Yasulkal, Istanbul, Turkey.
1. What you're paying for
SettleIn Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Plans are $4.99 / month or $39.99 / year (prices shown in USD; your provider may convert to your local currency at checkout). Pro removes the free-tier limits and unlocks automation, smart reminders, document translation, and the full guide.
2. 7-day free trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You are not charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing. If you don't cancel, the subscription begins and your payment method is charged at the end of the trial. The trial is meant to let you evaluate SettleIn Pro risk-free before any money changes hands.
3. Cancel anytime
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops all future charges. You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for — we don't cut you off mid-cycle.
- Web purchases (Paddle): cancel from the management link in your purchase-confirmation email, or email us and we'll cancel it for you immediately.
- iOS app purchases (Apple): cancel in your Apple ID settings — Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → SettleIn — at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
4. Refunds
Because every subscription begins with a 7-day free trial, you can always avoid being charged for something you don't want. That said, we want you to feel good about your purchase:
- 14-day money-back: if you were charged and you're not happy, email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it. No interrogation.
- After 14 days, charges for the current billing period are generally non-refundable, but you can cancel to stop future renewals (see Section 3). We review genuine billing errors or accidental purchases on a case-by-case basis.
- Annual plans: the same 14-day window applies from the date of each annual charge.
5. Who processes the payment
Web purchases are processed by Paddle, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles the transaction and any applicable taxes; charges appear on your statement as Paddle or Paddle.net. Refund and cancellation requests for web purchases can be made through Paddle or directly with us — either way we'll resolve it.
iOS app purchases are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple manages billing and refunds for these purchases under Apple's standard terms; refund requests for App Store purchases are submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
