1. Information We Collect
When you use SettleIn, we may collect: email address (when you sign up or subscribe to newsletter), profile information you provide (name, country, city), chat conversation history, community posts and comments, and document vault data you enter. We also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics.
2. Document Scanner
Images uploaded to the document scanner are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for processing. We do not permanently store your uploaded documents on our servers. Scanned images are processed in real-time and discarded after the response is generated.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve our services, send you the newsletter you subscribed to, personalize your experience, respond to your questions, and analyze usage patterns to improve the platform.
4. Data Storage
Your data is stored on Supabase (cloud database) with encryption at rest. Our servers are hosted on Vercel. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Anthropic (AI processing), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Google Analytics (usage analytics), Resend (email delivery), Google Maps (neighborhood maps). Each has their own privacy policy.
6. Cookies
We use localStorage for preferences (language, theme, document vault data). Google Analytics uses cookies for anonymous usage tracking. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your Rights
You can: request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account and data, unsubscribe from emails at any time, opt out of Google Analytics. Contact arek@settleinturkiye.com for any data requests.
8. Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We never sell or share your email with third parties.
9. Children
SettleIn is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will notify users of significant changes via email or website notice.
