Apartment deposit scam — 3 months is illegal

Some landlords demand 3 months rent as deposit ("depozito"). The legal limit is 1 month under Turkish tenancy law. Always sign a written contract, get a receipt, register with the tax office (kira beyanı). If they refuse: walk away.
