My First Year in Istanbul

Moved here from Berlin not knowing a word of Turkish. One year later: I have my residence permit, a favorite çay spot, and neighbors who bring me börek. The bureaucracy is real, but the warmth of people here makes up for everything. Best decision I ever made.
